# Proxmox releases full support for the Arm64 architecture, with a few key caveats

**[XDA Developers](https://daily.dev/sources/xda-developers)** · 2 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Proxmox has released full (non-preview) support for the 64-bit Arm architecture, backed by Nvidia's support for Grace Hopper and Vera platforms. The release comes with notable limitations: host hardware must use UEFI+ACPI, VMs must boot via AAVMF (no SeaBIOS), AMD SEV and Intel GVT-g are x86-only, guests cannot live-migrate across architectures, and device-tree-only SBCs like the Raspberry Pi are unsupported. Additionally, Arm support requires a separate subscription from the existing x86-64 one.
