**[It's Foss](https://daily.dev/sources/itsfoss)** · 3 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Proxmox Virtual Environment now officially supports ARM64, shipping ARM64 images alongside existing x86-64 builds. The release runs on Debian 13.5 "Trixie" with Linux kernel 7.0, QEMU 11.0, LXC 7.0, and ZFS 2.4. Officially supported hardware is limited to NVIDIA Grace and Vera platforms, validated jointly with NVIDIA and Supermicro on Grace Hopper Superchip servers. Other UEFI-based ARMv9-A hardware gets best-effort support, while devicetree-only single-board computers like Raspberry Pi are explicitly not supported. ARM64 support for Proxmox Backup Server is also in internal testing. The ARM64 ISO is available as a free download now.
