The video explains how workflows differ from skills, sub-agents, agent teams, and the /goal command: skills are reusable recipes, sub-agents run in parallel but don't communicate, agent teams share a group chat, /goal loops until a done-criteria is met, and workflows are wide parallel jobs where Claude writes a JavaScript script to orchestrate many agents simultaneously. Key practical notes include: workflows can be very token-expensive (one prompt consumed half a $200/month plan), agents should be set to Haiku to reduce costs, scope must be bounded explicitly, and the /deep research command auto-invokes a workflow. The 'ultra code' mode defaults every prompt to a workflow with extra-high reasoning effort.
