NetBox Validation is now in Public Preview as a commercial feature of the NetBox Labs platform. It provides two core capabilities: continuous, control-mapped compliance evidence (supporting frameworks like NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, NIS2/DORA, ISO 27001, NERC CIP) and automated pre-change safety checks. Validation runs entirely offline against the NetBox system of record — no SSH, no device credentials, no live network access — making it fast and safe for heavily automated or agent-driven environments. It integrates with CI/CD pipelines and the NetBox Labs MCP server, allowing AI agents to self-correct infrastructure changes before human review. Checks cover policy compliance, configuration correctness, and resilience (redundancy, BGP, reachability, single points of failure). Currently available on NetBox Cloud, with self-hosted enterprise support coming later.
