# React & Next.js

**[Dev Squad](https://daily.dev/sources/devsquad)** · [@amiez](https://daily.dev/amiez) · 1 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

A developer shares two comprehensive article series covering React and Next.js fundamentals. The React series includes architecture, JSX, components, Virtual DOM, hooks, and routing. The Next.js series covers routing systems, data fetching, server components, edge functions, and framework comparisons. Both series aim to build understanding from basics to real-world concepts.

## Content

Fundamentals is the key. 🔑

After working on a few projects, I realized the importance of strengthening my core understanding. As I went deeper into each topic, I found it very useful to write articles for myself and others, so I created two article series: one on React ⚛️ and another on Next.js ⬆️.

I went back to the basics and built up step by step, covering both theory and real-world concepts. 🛠️

React series covers:
 • React Architecture and Core Features
 • Import, Export, and JSX Simplified
 • Components and Conditional Rendering
 • Virtual DOM and Performance
 • Props, PropTypes, and Avoiding Prop Drilling
 • Lists and Dynamic Rendering
 • Hooks (Complete Guide)
 • Events and Lifecycle Methods
 • React Router and Navigation

Next.js series covers:
 • Next.js Introduction
 • Routing (Pages Router & App Router)
 • Data Fetching and Server Actions
 • Advanced Features (Server Components, Edge Functions, Middleware, Caching)
 • NextJS vs React

Next.js Series : [https://lnkd.in/gj3MV9DG]()

Writing these articles helped me solidify my understanding and create a reference for myself and hopefully, they can help others learning React and Next.js too.
