The feature opens articles, videos, and digests directly within daily.dev, with the discussion panel alongside the content. It requires the browser extension and can be enabled via a prompt on first use or toggled in Settings → Appearance. ## Content Great articles usually live somewhere else. Until now, tapping **Read post** meant a new tab, a fresh page load, and leaving the conversation behind. **Read inside daily.dev** keeps everything in one place. The article opens right there in daily.dev, with the discussion sitting next to it. ## Here's what's new - **The full article, in place**: Open any article, video, or digest without leaving daily.dev. - **Discussion right beside it**: Upvote, downvote, comment, award, bookmark, and copy the link while you read. No scrolling back and forth. - **Keep going**: Tags, further reading, and next/previous post navigation are all one click away, so you can move from one article to the next without losing your spot.  ## How to turn it on The first time you hit **Read post**, you'll get a quick prompt to enable it. It runs through the browser extension, so if you don't have it yet, you'll be able to grab it in one click (or preview the reader first to see how it feels). Want to change your mind later? Head to **Settings → Appearance → Read articles inside daily.dev** and flip the toggle. There's also a settings shortcut in the reader itself.
