Microsoft's Real-Time Intelligence (RTI) within Microsoft Fabric is a unified platform for building event-driven AI apps and agents. The session covers end-to-end data flows: ingesting streaming data via 40+ connectors (MQTT, SQL CDC, Kafka, AMQP), processing with SQL operators or no-code drag-and-drop, and storing in EventHouse — a purpose-built petabyte-scale time-series store with sub-second query performance. Key demos include stadium operations use cases (turnstile fraud detection, concession inventory management), KQL and SQL analytics over billions of live records, anomaly detection with auto-selected models, and an Operations Agent (now GA) that autonomously monitors, reasons, and acts on streaming data. New announcements include: Deltaflow for CDC schema management, delta change feed connector (public preview), custom stream connectors (private preview), EventHouse MCP for agent-driven queries, Fabric Skills for GitHub Copilot CLI, and activator-based alerting. The platform targets both technical developers and business users through copilot-assisted natural language querying and low-code interfaces.
