Reallusion has launched AI Studio, a hybrid production platform that combines its iClone 3D animation tools with ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 AI video model. The workflow lets artists build scenes in iClone — setting camera paths, character positions, and lighting — then use that 3D data as a precision control layer for AI video rendering. The platform supports multiple models including Veo 3, Kling AI, Wan, LTX, and others, allowing studios to switch engines per shot. Reallusion positions this as a stable alternative to single-provider AI video tools, noting that local 3D scene data remains usable even if a cloud AI model is discontinued — a concern highlighted by OpenAI's Sora shutdown in April.
