# Reflectiz claims 10x pentest coverage with AI agents, but who's checking the checker?

## Summary

Reflectiz launched an agentic pentesting platform for websites using four specialized AI agents that crawl, fingerprint, attack, and validate findings, plus a remediation agent called Atlas. The company claims 10x more coverage than conventional pentests, built on a decade of continuous site scanning data. The 10x figure is an unvalidated vendor claim without a clear denominator, though the dedicated validation agent for cutting false positives is a more credible architectural choice. A live demo webinar is scheduled for September 15.

## Content

Reflectiz just launched what it's calling an agentic pentesting platform for websites, and the headline number is doing a lot of heavy lifting: 10x more coverage than conventional pentests.

The setup is four specialized AI agents working in sequence. One crawls the site like a real user, one fingerprints the stack, one runs and chains attacks, and a fourth independently validates findings to cut false positives. The whole thing sits on top of Reflectiz's existing live site model, built from a decade of continuous scanning across pages, scripts, third-party dependencies, and sensitive inputs. That pre-existing map is the actual differentiator they're selling here - the agents aren't starting cold, they're working from a detailed picture of each site that's already been assembled.

Findings come with reproduction steps, affected scripts, data reach, and real-time exposure status. There's also an AI remediation agent called Atlas that guides fixes. Results pipe out via REST API, CI/CD integration, and Slack. Coverage spans the full OWASP Top 10. It slots into Reflectiz's broader platform alongside an existing Security Hub and Privacy Hub, giving teams a unified exposure view.

The 10x claim is the thing worth scrutinizing. Compared to what, exactly? Conventional pentests vary wildly in scope and quality, so "10x more coverage" is a number that needs a denominator. Reflectiz hasn't published independent validation of that figure - it's a vendor claim, full stop. The false-positive elimination story is more credible on its face, since having a dedicated validation agent in the pipeline is a real architectural choice, not just marketing language.

What's genuinely interesting here is the underlying model. If you've been scanning a site continuously for years, you know things about it that a human pentester parachuting in for a week simply won't. Third-party scripts that load conditionally, domains that appear only in certain user flows, inputs that surface on specific pages - that institutional knowledge is hard to replicate manually. Whether the agents actually exploit that advantage effectively is the open question.

A live demo webinar is scheduled for September 15. That's where the claims either hold up or don't.

## Questions this post answers

### What do the four AI agents in Reflectiz's new pentesting platform actually do?

They work in sequence: one crawls the site like a real user, one fingerprints the technology stack, one runs and chains attacks, and a fourth independently validates findings to reduce false positives. This pipeline sits on top of Reflectiz's existing live site model, which is built from years of continuous scanning across pages, scripts, third-party dependencies, and sensitive inputs.

### Is Reflectiz's claim of 10x more pentest coverage backed by independent verification?

No, it is a vendor claim without published independent validation. Conventional pentests vary widely in scope and quality, so the 10x figure lacks a clear denominator or baseline for comparison, making it hard to assess on its own terms.
