## Questions this post answers

### What resolution were the cameras on the original Nintendo DSi?

The Nintendo DSi's built-in cameras, released in November 2008, were limited to a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. Despite this low resolution, accessory maker Nyko released an 8x optical zoom lens attachment that mounted to a case fitted around the DSi's shell, letting users capture sharper photos of distant subjects.
