# Repairing A Apple PowerBook 150 With Serious Issues

## Summary

A 1995 Apple PowerBook 150 purchased for one Australian dollar gets a full restoration. The repair involved removing a degraded vinegar-syndrome polarizer from the display, replacing a corroded daughter PCB caused by a leaking RTC battery, 3D printing a replacement hinge in PETG, reinforcing broken plastic clips, and swapping the dead IDE hard drive for a CF card via an IDE adapter. The laptop was reassembled successfully, though MacOS installation couldn't be completed due to difficulty sourcing compatible boot floppies.
