ReSharper 2026.2 introduces ACP-based AI agent support in Visual Studio starting with Junie in Preview, an LLM-agnostic coding agent that can write/edit code, refactor, run terminal commands, and manage Git workflows. The release also brings .NET debugging to VS Code-compatible editors (VS Code, Cursor, Kiro, Devin Desktop, Google Antigravity IDE) with breakpoints, variable inspection, and step navigation. C# analysis improvements include more collection-expression inspections and an enhanced Extract Method refactoring that detects duplicates. Additional highlights include integrated profiling and coverage tools bundled with ReSharper, broader Out-of-Process tool support, retirement of Dynamic Program Analysis, and initial C++26 reflection support.
