The restoration involved disassembling the case by drilling out rivets, cleaning and repainting panels, replacing a potentiometer and an LM340KC-12 linear regulator, cleaning all IC sockets and contacts, fixing corroded keyboard components and broken PCB traces, and addressing cold solder joints.
