# Restrict who can dismiss reviews in rulesets

## Summary

GitHub has made generally available a new ruleset setting that lets you restrict which users, teams, and apps can dismiss pull request reviews. The control lives inside the existing 'Require a pull request before merging' rule and can be configured via the UI, REST API, or GraphQL. This gives teams precise control over who can clear an approval before changes are merged.
