Revenium has launched Guardrails, a runtime enforcement tool that intercepts AI API calls before they reach model providers, blocking unapproved or over-budget requests before any charge is incurred. Unlike traditional post-billing cost monitoring, Guardrails applies rules in real time, allowing teams to set model access policies that are enforced automatically. It complements Revenium's existing Tool Registry (for monitoring agent spending) and AI Outcomes (for measuring spend value), and can trace spending spikes to specific people and teams.
