Rocky Linux is launching an optional security repository to ship important security fixes faster than waiting for upstream Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Motivated by recent vulnerabilities like Dirty Frag and Fragnesia, this opt-in repo lets users get critical patches proactively, even before they land in RHEL. Users can enable it with `sudo dnf --enablerepo=security update`.
