I built Git Switch to solve a problem I deal with every day while working across multiple repositories and services.
Most of the time, my workflow looked like this:

It became repetitive and inefficient.
So I built Git Switch, a native macOS app that combines Git workflows and local development environment management in one place.

One of the hardest parts was handling process cleanup correctly so restarting projects does not leave orphaned processes running in the background.
The app is still evolving, but it is already improving my daily workflow significantly.

The UI intent looks a lot like <a href="https://www.smartgit.dev/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">SmartGit 🤔</a>
I am most likely not from the target audience as I use IntelliJ Uktimate custom runner configurations to one-click launch my multi-services project, from compilation to local or containered serves and runs 🫣
But I assume it makes me dependent to the IDE and I wouldn’t be free to use any other IDE, which your tool permits ✨
