ThreadX, a real-time operating system, is being transferred to the Eclipse Foundation and renamed to Eclipse ThreadX. This is interesting to Embedded Rust developers because ThreadX/Azure RTOS was previously available as a certified software component. Certified software components are tools that can lower the burden of the assessment process for products, especially those focused on functional safety.
