Version 0.10 of the uutils Rust Coreutils project has been released, focusing on GNU Core Utilities compatibility. The project now passes 645 of 690 GNU tests, up from 625 in v0.9.0. Notable additions include the mv --exchange option, an OpenSSL backend for checksum utilities, SELinux label support in mkdir/mkfifo/mknod, plus performance and security improvements. A browser-based playground running the utilities via WebAssembly is also available.
