Salesforce Adds Ability to Apply Custom Security Policies to APIs

Salesforce adds the ability to apply custom security policies to APIs through the Mulesoft Anypoint API management platform. The Anypoint Flex Gateway Policy Development Kit enables streamlined development of custom API security policies, which can be implemented as code. This eliminates the need for a separate API security platform and ensures secure API development within an automated DevOps workflow. The responsibility for API security is shifting towards DevSecOps teams, and providing developers with API security tools allows for addressing security issues at the beginning of the application development process.
