ScalaHosting, a cloud hosting provider offering managed VPS and web hosting services, has joined the MariaDB Foundation as a Gold Sponsor. MariaDB is the default database on ScalaHosting's SPanel servers and powers its high-availability clusters via Galera and MaxScale. The sponsorship will fund continued open-source development of MariaDB Server and includes plans for joint education and technical content initiatives.
