> I think the last bit is extremely important: "focusing on flexibility, adaptability, collaboration, and results rather than rigid processes and metrics". This is Agile in essence, that is, people over processes and tools. But it's hard to implement. A dashboard with metrics is more convenient to address than actual people with issues, and this is where Agile/Scrum is not done properly.

> Scrum is a framework. It's as imperfect as any other process framework. The old adage: "There is no silver bullet" still holds true. As any process framework, you're not supposed to take it as holy scripture; adapt the process framework to meet your needs. In other words, adapt the process to the people, not the people to the process. Once you understand this you'll start to make progress.
