Sculpt OS 26.04 has been released, bringing several notable improvements to this general-purpose OS built on the Genode OS Framework. Key updates include Linux 6.18 LTS-based drivers for better hardware compatibility with modern Intel/PC hardware, improved laptop support, USB networking enabled by default, updated Qt6 toolkit, and an updated Chromium-based Falkon browser. The most significant milestone is the experimental Goa SDK now running natively on Sculpt OS, enabling Genode components to be developed, compiled, and tested without relying on a Linux VM for the first time.
