SEALSQ Corp and GlobalFoundries have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to co-develop secure semiconductor platforms, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions, and cryogenic CMOS technologies for quantum computing. The partnership will focus on three areas: developing pre-certified PQC security IP blocks and Chiplet Hardware Security Modules (CHSMs) with MIPS; advancing CryoCMOS and cryoelectronic ASICs for ultra-low-temperature quantum computing; and supporting sovereign and trusted semiconductor supply chain objectives in the U.S. and Europe. The collaboration combines GF's semiconductor manufacturing capabilities with SEALSQ's expertise in hardware-based certified security and PQC-ready silicon.
