Seravo, a Finland-based WordPress and WooCommerce hosting specialist, has become a Silver Sponsor of the MariaDB Foundation. The two organizations already had a long relationship: Seravo uses MariaDB in its hosting stack alongside Linux, Nginx and Redis, hosts the MariaDB.org website, has contributed to MariaDB and other open-source projects, and hosted a MariaDB Developers Unconference in Tampere in 2018. This sponsorship formalizes that existing support with financial backing for the Foundation.
