Sheetmusic4J 0.0.3 is out, adding ABC notation read/write support and basic Guitar Pro 7/8 file import to this Java(FX) sheet music library. The ABC implementation covers keys, modes, tuplets, ties, slurs, grace notes, decorations, repeats, chord symbols, and lyrics, all backed by round-trip tests. Guitar Pro import is experimental and load-only, built on community-documented reverse engineering of the GPIF format. The release also brings significant engraving improvements including better grace notes, distinct flag glyphs for short note values, improved tie/slur placement, and a fix for crashes on large scores via windowed canvas rendering.
