Sheetmusic4J 0.0.3 is out, adding ABC notation read/write support and basic Guitar Pro 7/8 file import to this Java(FX) sheet music library. The ABC format support includes keys, modes, tuplets, ties, slurs, grace notes, decorations, repeats, chord symbols, and lyrics, all backed by round-trip tests. Guitar Pro import is experimental and load-only, built on community-documented reverse-engineering of the GPIF format. The release also improves engraving quality with better grace notes, flag glyphs, ties, slurs, barline styles, and spacing. Both new formats were directly requested by LinkedIn commenters, illustrating the author's early-release feedback strategy.
