# Ship internal applications from your AI Agent with Datadog Apps

## Summary

Datadog Apps is a code-first platform for building and deploying internal applications that run natively inside Datadog. Teams can scaffold apps using familiar tools like Vite and React, generate them via AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), and embed them into dashboards, notebooks, and developer homepages. Apps inherit Datadog's existing authentication (SSO, RBAC, Teams), connect to external systems through the Actions platform without exposing secrets in code, and automatically gain audit trail coverage and observability. The platform is currently in preview.
