Siemens is working on fixing a zero-day bug affecting its Ruggedcom APE1808 devices configured with Palo Alto Networks (PAN) Virtual NGFW. The bug, identified as CVE-2024-3400, is actively being exploited and PAN has issued patches for it. The vulnerability exposes industrial control environments to attacks. Internet-facing ICS and OT systems continue to be a major risk, with a high number of vulnerable instances exposed globally.
