Silent Hill: Townfall, developed by Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code) and published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive, replaces the franchise's iconic static radio with a handheld CRT television as its central gameplay mechanic. The CRTV serves multiple functions: tuning into frequencies for story clues, detecting enemies through walls, and guiding exploration in the Scottish town of St. Amelia. The game also shifts to a first-person perspective, which the developers say enhances the CRTV's effectiveness as a physical object and increases claustrophobic tension. The title releases September 24 on PS5 and PC.
