Engineers from both agencies will work with IBM specialists to develop and evaluate quantum optimisation approaches for representative planning problems, gaining hands-on experience with IBM's cloud-based quantum resources. The initiative is an early-stage effort to build indigenous quantum expertise within Singapore's defence ecosystem and assess whether quantum approaches can outperform conventional methods for complex operational planning challenges. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
