Skoda has unveiled the Peaq, its first seven-seat all-electric SUV and the most expensive car in its 130-year history. Built on Volkswagen Group's MEB platform in the Czech Republic, the Peaq comes in three variants: the 60 (150kW, 63kWh, 460km+ range), the 90 (210kW, 91kWh, 600km+ range), and the AWD 90x. All support 200kW DC fast charging (10–80% in ~28 minutes) and bidirectional V2H charging. Starting at around €50,000–€55,000, it significantly undercuts the Kia EV9 (~€66,000) and Hyundai Ioniq 9 (~€70,000). The world premiere is set for June 23, 2026, with deliveries expected from mid-2026.
