A proposed redesign for PowerToys Awake is being floated by the PowerToys project manager, Niels Laute. The new design introduces a lightweight flyout accessible from the taskbar, replacing the need to dig into Settings or the tray menu. It offers quick preset timers and advanced scheduling with exact date/time for when the keep-awake mode turns off. The proposal is open for community feedback on GitHub before any official implementation.
