A hobbyist built a walking robot controlled by Claude Fable 5 using a Raspberry Pi 5 as the main brain and an Nvidia Jetson Nano for vision processing. The robot uses two stereo cameras for perception, runs hardware and control systems locally, and communicates with the Claude model via API for decision-making. Some in the Reddit community question whether the actual Claude Fable 5 model is being used, but the hardware build itself is considered impressive.
