The US Space Force's Victus Haze mission has demonstrated satellite pursuit-and-evasion maneuvers in orbit for the first time in an unclassified setting. True Anomaly's Jackal satellite and Rocket Lab's Puma satellite conducted a cat-and-mouse exercise in low Earth orbit. Rocket Lab launched Puma within 17 hours of call-up and had it operational within 38 hours, well ahead of the 72-hour requirement, showcasing rapid commercial satellite deployment capabilities for military use.
