# Stacked Branches with GitButler

**[GitButler Blog](https://daily.dev/sources/gitbutler)** · 2 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

GitButler 0.14 introduces stacked branches, allowing developers to create dependent branches built on top of each other and review each group of commits independently. This workflow lets you continue working on new features while waiting for dependent branches to be reviewed and merged. The feature includes GitHub Pull Request integration that shows the status of each branch in a stack, and works alongside GitButler's existing virtual branching, drag-and-drop rebasing, squashing, and splitting features.
