# Starlight 0.39

## Summary

Starlight 0.39 introduces more flexible sidebar autogeneration, allowing autogenerated links to be mixed with custom and external links without requiring a labeled group wrapper. Styling improvements include better nested list spacing using the CSS :has() selector and sidebar layout stability via scrollbar-gutter: stable. Multilingual support gains x-default meta links for improved SEO, text-autospace CSS for better CJK text rendering, and an i18next upgrade from v23 to v26.
