TechCrunch is bringing Startup Battlefield back to Sydney on August 19, 2026, in partnership with Stripe. Ten selected startups will pitch live for a chance to win up to $10,000 in Stripe fee credits, with the grand winner earning automatic entry into Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco. The post highlights outcomes from the 2017 Sydney event, where winner HealthMatch raised over $25M and runner-up FluroSat (now Regrow Agriculture) raised over $60M. Across 26 alumni from that event, collective funding exceeds $147M. Applications are open through July 6, free to apply with no equity taken.
