It works within Kotlin/Native's two core concurrency rules — mutable state owned by one thread, and shared state must be immutable (frozen) — by using atomic classes to allow mutation inside frozen objects. The library is intended for sparse use cases like global service objects and caches, not as a general escape hatch from Native's concurrency model.
