Valve has revealed pricing for the Steam Machine, a 6-inch AMD/Linux-powered living room gaming PC running SteamOS. It starts at $1,049 USD for the 512GB model and goes up to $1,428 for the top-end configuration with a Steam Controller. The hardware features a semi-custom AMD Zen 4 APU with 6 cores/12 threads, RDNA3 28 CU graphics, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. Valve claims it is six times more powerful than the Steam Deck and capable of 4K gaming at 60 FPS with FSR. Due to limited inventory, Valve will use a randomized reservation process starting June 25.
