Prisma is sunsetting Prisma Optimize and replacing it with Query Insights, a built-in feature of Prisma Postgres. User feedback revealed that Optimize introduced friction through manual client extensions, limited SQL visibility, and heavy profiling workflows. Query Insights addresses these issues by automatically providing query analytics directly in the Prisma Postgres dashboard with no additional setup required. Existing Optimize users can uninstall the package and remove the client extension.
