GitHub Copilot (83%), Claude Code (63%), and Amazon Q (49%) are the most widely used AI coding tools. While 58% report major productivity gains and 91% say developers save at least three hours weekly, 64% are concerned about security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code. Only 30% of organizations have a centrally governed approval process for AI coding tools, highlighting a significant governance gap.
