> Do you have any specific advise for those who want to be able to gain experience and knowledge in working with AWS? I guess some of the examples you have mentioned make sense in self hosting and later can be tarnslated into AWS environment as well, but is there some "fun" project that can help me gain knowledge that is especially helpful for AWS?

> I have my own VPS almost 4 years. I was born again when i started to work with it. I have 6 JS apps, mail server and databases on Ubuntu using docker, NginX and PM2. I think everybody can learn basic linux, certs, and stuff to configure. Its cheap and just everything works fine.
