That’s exactly what happened today when a recruiter cold-contacted one of our team members on WhatsApp, treating him like just another replaceable part of the production line! This mentality of developers as mere commodities, who can juggle multiple projects without a thought to their current commitments, is downright disrespectful and needs to change. The “try before you buy” approach and aggressive, intrusive methods of contact show a lack of understanding and appreciation for the work that developers do. They are not interchangeable or expendable; they are the backbone of our tech-driven world, bringing ideas to life and shaping our future. The way the industry should approach and view developers has to change. They deserve to be empowered, respected, and given the resources they need to make a real impact.
