> Thank you but I'll stick to https://mermaid.js.org/ for now. Its textbased. Even easier than what is shown here and can be used in markdown. It is even rendered by default on github, so I can just let my diagrams live with my code.
> There are simple extensions for intellij idea and for vscode that will render these diagrams too.

> While D2 is highly regarded for its exceptional architecture design capabilities, it's unfortunate that the free plan on Terrastruct is no longer available. Despite this setback, there is still hope that the tool can be used locally without any limitations. However, it appears that the development of IDE extensions is yet to reach its full potential.
