Tesla has put its gigacasting manufacturing plans on hold, opting to stick with a three-piece underbody for its vehicles. The decision comes as the company faces falling sales and shrinking profits, and follows the cancellation of its $25,000 'Model 2' EV. Despite this, Tesla still plans to make more affordable EVs.
