A compatibility reference for how the HTML `<article>` element is handled across major screen readers. Testing covers NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), Narrator, and TalkBack. Results show inconsistent behavior: some screen readers announce articles and support quick navigation, others treat them as landmarks, and some ignore them entirely. Labelling articles with aria-label or aria-labelledby makes no meaningful difference across tested screen readers.
