Octane.js is a new framework by Dominic Gannaway (React and Svelte core team member) that aims to fix React's core pain points by compiling away the virtual DOM, eliminating hook dependency arrays, improving async data fetching, and parallelizing independent use() calls. It is not a drop-in replacement but can render as islands inside existing React apps.
