Linux Mint's Nemo file manager is getting a performance improvement in the upcoming Cinnamon 6.6 release. The update removes a 200ms delay that occurred between clicking a directory and its contents appearing on screen, resulting in snappier navigation. The improved Nemo will ship with the next major Linux Mint feature update, expected around Christmas.
