Its two chips — the E1 processor and X2 switch — offer open, programmable alternatives to Nvidia's closed Mellanox-based networking stack. The E1 is the first 800-gigabit data processor shipping under 75 watts, while the X2 moves 12.8 terabits per second at 40% lower power than legacy switches. Xsight's silicon is already deployed by real customers including SpaceX's Starlink, where programmable chips allow software-based fault fixes in orbit.
